how to multiply any no. by 13

1-Take a no. like 46792. U first need to add a 0 before it and a 0 after it. So it becomes 0467920.
2-U start of with the 2. U multiply that 2 with 3 and add the no. after it. So 2*3+0=6. So keep 6 on the the side of your answer.
3-The next no. is 9. So u do 9 multiplied by 3 plus the no. after it. so u do  9*3+2  that is 29
your answer so far should be written as 29 6.
4-The no. after that is 7 so u do 7*3+9 that is 30. Since the answer was so far 2 9 6 u can see that the that the 2 is kept as a carryover. So to 30 u add 2. It becomes 32.
So your answer so far should be written like this 32 9 6
5- The next no. is 6 so u do 6*3+7 that is 25. Again the carry over was 3 so u add 25+3 that is 28.The answer so far was 32 9 6 now it becomes 28 2 9 6.
6-The no. after that is 4 so u do 4*3+6 which is 18. The carry over was 2 so it becomes 18+2=20. So the answer becomes 2 0 8 2 9 6.
7- The last digit is 0 so it is 0*3+4=4. The carry over is 2. So u add 4 to that.It becomes 6.
so your final answer will be 608296

guess the day trick

January has 31 days. It means that every date in February will be 3 days later than the same date in January(28 is 4 weeks exactly). The below table is calculated in such a way. Remember this table which will help you to calculate.
January0
February3
March3
April6
May1
June4
July6
August2
September5
October0
November3
December5

Step1: Ask for the Date. Ex: 23rd June 1986
Step2: Number of the month on the list, June is 4.
Step3: Take the date of the month, that is 23
Step4: Take the last 2 digits of the year, that is 86.
Step5: Find out the number of leap years. Divide the last 2 digits of the year by 4, 86 divide by 4 is 21.
Step6: Now add all the 4 numbers: 4 + 23 + 86 + 21 = 134.
Step7: Divide 134 by 7 = 19 remainder 1.
The reminder tells you the day.
